This lovely couple Cord Thomas & Shamaira Jones announced their engagement in 2010, and made plans for their beautiful Spring wedding full of tropical decor, family, close friends, and loved ones. This 3-day wedding celebration would include guests from all over the United States, and including Guyana. Futhermore, plans were in place for a pre-wedding dinner celebration, the wedding, and a post-wedding BB-Q! The Jones-Thomas wedding was pre-planned to be filled with lots of family and celebrating.

The couple planned their engagement pictures with Atlanta based photographer Jordan Rose of J. Rose Photography. The session took place in several locations throughout the greater Atlanta, Georgia areas, such as; Atlantic Station, Piedmont Park, just to name a few. Their love was reflected through the lens of the camera, it was a photo session full of love leading up to their special day!

Chocolate & Blue Baby Shower (Part 2)

The baby shower Candy Bar Buffet Station featured Mom-to-Be favorite Candies.* Filled with cute little sayings for the baby on the way, and all the candies sat on a handmade baby blanket (made by me for my son when I was "expecting")!

Chocolate & Blue Baby Shower (Part 1)

This was a fun filled baby shower full of lots of love and family! The Mom-to-Be chose the Chocolate & Blue theme.

As guests arrived they signed in on the baby's onesie, writing sweet messages and leaving their signatures (Makes a great keepsake for the baby).

Chocolate & Blue Guest "Thank you" Gifts for coming to the shower. Little blue pails with mini lotions stuffed with shredded chocolate paper was a great added element to the Shower decor!

The Sweetest Thing Events
Pole Dancing Event 2/5/2011

The event was a HUGE success, a SELL OUT! The invites/ticket sales started Novemeber 2010, all the ladies purchased their tickets in advance online through my website http://www.sweetestthingevents.weebly.com/ . Also, I had a a few vendors that came out! Photographer, Jordan of "E.M.G. Entertainment Media Group" http://www.entertainmediagroup.com/, Boutique owner, Unique of "Tuche Boutique" http://www.tucheboutique.highwire.com/ , and Ashely of "Pure Romance" http://www.ashleyberkelback.pureromance.com/. Along with bartending services provided by my favorite mixologist "Tanya Justice" The event took place at "My Pole Fitness Studio" located in Conyers, Georgia.


The night began with the ladies arriving, excited and ready to experience a night out of fun, giggles, cocktails, girl talk and of course getting on the pole! The studio was full of booming music, candle light, pink & black decor, rose petals, and a perfect enviroment to Pole Dance! As each guest arrived chocolate covered strawberries awaited, light hor deourves, specialty drinks at the bar, and night full of pole dancing! Most of the ladies were new to learning all the fancy moves on the pole, so it was quite an experience for all the ladies!

The ladies of "My Pole Fitness" started the Pole Party off with a BANG! Twirling, flipping, fast spins, and bold moves was the kick-off of the party as they broke the ladies in with performance to remember. The ladies were then instructed on begginer moves, spins, and tricks! The pole party was full fitness, fun, and bringing the sexier side out of these young ladies. As the party came to a end the ladies checked out the vendors, shopping and mingling.


One of the big highlights of the night was the raffle to win a Dancer Pole from "Pure Romance" (valued at $179.00) which "Kat Williams" director http://www.kattoy.com/ organized this grand raffle for this event! The lucky young lady was Rikki Johnson ! It was fun to give this pole away!!!! Finally, the night came to a end with each guest leaving with a gift bag w/goodies from The Sweetest Thing Events & the lovely vendors ; and lastly I want to THANK everyone that came out!
